Function of Upadacitinib
Upadatinib is primarily indicated for patients with refractory, moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older who have not responded well to or are unsuitable for other systemic therapies (such as hormones or biologics). The launch of upadatinib extended-release tablets provides more options for the treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis. Upatinib works by blocking the activity of Janus kinases in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway.
