Function of Tacrolimus
Tacrolimus (FK506), a macrolide, binds to FK506 binding protein (FKBP) to form a complex and inhibits calcineurin phosphatase (calcineurin phosphatase), thereby inhibiting T lymphocyte signal transduction and IL-2 transcription, with strong Immunosuppressive properties.
