Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a precious medicinal plant in the palm family, with a life span of 500-700 years. Saw palmetto contains digestible carbohydrates, oils and other nutrients, of which 2/3 of the oils are free fatty acids, including capric acid, caprylic acid, caproic acid, lauric acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid. These substances are edible and medicinal.
Function of Saw Palmetto Extract
