Function of Rosuvastatin Calcium

The main function of rosuvastatin calcium is to lower blood lipids. It is suitable for patients whose blood lipids are still high after diet control, weight control, and lifestyle improvement. It is mainly used to control hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia. During the application of rosuvastatin, it is recommended that patients have a low-fat diet, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, reduce weight, and exercise attention. The initial dose of rosuvastatin is 5 mg, once a day. After 4 weeks of treatment, blood lipids are still not well controlled. It can be increased to 10 mg once a day, and the maximum dose can be used up to 20 mg once a day.
